This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you visit Krafcky.com, join the Reader List, use the Contact form, listen to audio, read site content, or follow links to other websites.

Reader List

When you join the Reader List, the site collects your email address, an optional first name, the source of the signup, consent or subscription status, and related timestamps. Reader List information is stored in Cloudflare D1 and is used to manage subscriptions and send the updates you requested.

Reader List information is not sold.

Contact submissions

When you use the Contact form, the site collects your first name, last name, email address, selected topic, and message. Contact submissions are forwarded to Chris's existing email-delivery service so he can receive and respond to the message.

Spam and abuse prevention

Reader List and Contact forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to help prevent spam and abuse. Turnstile performs a security check when a form is submitted. Cloudflare's handling of information through that service is governed by Cloudflare's own policies.

Analytics and interaction measurement

Google Analytics 4 will be used for aggregate site analytics and interaction measurement. The site measures events such as outbound clicks to Amazon, Journal article and public-sample views, audio interactions, Reader List submissions, and Contact submissions.

The site should not intentionally send personal information entered into Reader List or Contact form fields to Google Analytics. Analytics information is used to understand site usage and improve reader pathways and site performance.

Third-party links

Krafcky.com includes links to Amazon and social platforms. Following those links takes you to third-party websites, which are governed by their own privacy policies and practices.

Retention and your choices

No fixed retention period has been established for the information described in this policy. Retention may depend on the purpose for which the information was collected and applicable operational, security, or legal needs.

You may request correction or removal of your information, or ask to unsubscribe from the Reader List, by emailing chris.krafcky@krafcky.com. Reader List messages may also provide an unsubscribe method when available.
